Alexa Ray Joel

Alexa Ray is an American singer, music producer, and songwriter. Alexa Ray Joel is the child of singer Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley. Joel is an New York native who has been influenced by her parents' love for fashion and music. When she was 19 years old, she formed a music group, and performed the first show live at Maxwell's In Hoboken New Jersey. The following years she quickly grew in recognition and was soon one of today's most promising stars. In 2006 Joel made her first extended performance Sketches. Published through Audio Bee record label the EP helped her to find her footing in the music industry. In the time since then, she's made several singles available and has appeared in numerous live performances. Joel has been involved with the fashion industry since her early years and has also performed at various fashion shows and as a performer. Joel was featured appearing on the BELLA Beauty Issue cover in the year 2018. In December 2009, she was hospitalized after taking in an excessive amount of traumael. Following her complete recovery, she stated that she never intended to harm herself.
