Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine combines R&B, jazz and soul in the style that is his own. From Broadway to European music festivals and clubs Sunshine has performed across the globe. Sunshine is Denise White. Though she lives in Atlanta but she is from Chester Pennsylvania where she began music by performing and playing the piano in church. She was a student at Spellman College and began to learn the R&B style that is popular in Atlanta. In 2005 she was hired to be the main keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 to serve as Choral Director of Dreamgirls the stage show of Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine became famous throughout the four performances during the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine was later invited to sing during Barack Obama's Inauguration in 2009.
