Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived to a musical family 9 August 1993, in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is the cousin of daughter to singing superstar Dionne. As a child, she sang in her New Hope Baptist Church Choir in Newark. When she was fifteen, Houston was singing professionally with backing vocals alongside her mother in Chaka Khan's hit song in 1978 Im Every Woman. In 1981, she was a model, and was featured on the Seventeen album cover. She also provided backing vocals to Jermaine and Lou Rawls. The vocals she sang with the New York-based group Material brought attention to major record labels, including Arista. The label signed her to Arista in 1983 and was a part of the company for the remainder of her career. The debut Whitney Houston album was released in 1985. It became one of the top-selling albums by an artist. Songs like The Greatest Love of All, How Will I Know If You Give Love and the song Saving All My Love were all released on the album. These songs helped Houston to achieve 7 US top tens that surpassed even the top tens of The Beatles. In its first US year, the album was had sold more than 3 million copies. After that, it was to be purchased by millions of people around the world which earned her her first Grammy. The album that followed it in 1987 Whitney that included hits Where Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built upon her successes, but it was her 1992 movie The Bodyguard (1992) that sealed her place as one of the top-selling performers in history. Although the film and the actor's performance weren't highly praised, the soundtrack album with her version of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was her top single and album for several months. It sold over 44 million copies around the world. Their daughter Bobbi was born in March of 1993, the year after she wed Bobby Brown. Around this time that her much documented usage of drugs began. By 1996, she was a regular drug user.
Dana Bash (also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz) is a CNN political reporter and anchorwoman. In the past, she has been the producer of shows on the network such as Evans & Novak' Late Editionas well as Inside Politics'. Bash received a Women in Washington Power List honor in Elle magazine. Many young journalists admire her for having incredible reporting/anchoring abilities. The George Washington University graduate is an adoring mother of one son. Bash is a single mother and was married twice. Bash, a woman who loves to be independent and strong she is extremely devoted to her admirers.
