Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude toubia is a Canadian Actress best known as a star of the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda & Voltea pa' que te are enamored. Additionally, she's a talented model and dancer. A Montreal born native, she grew as a child in Texas and has always been fascinated by dance and performing. She's been learning various dance styles from the time she was a child. In her teens, she was a contestant in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous after she won a spot on Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. Toubia began her acting career in 2010 in the role of an office receptionist on a Telemundo episode. She appeared in the 2015 action-drama Tattooed Love, her debut film. Toubia's performance as Shadowhunter was recognized by her fellow actors at the Teen Choice Awards in both 2017 and 2018 for Best TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
